2310609 - Error Message "The file is corrupt and cannot be opened" While Downloading Migration Template

When you are downloading Migration Template system throws below error message:

The file is corrupt and cannot be opened

1. Go to Business Configuration work center
2. Select Implementation Projects view or Overview.
3. Search and Open any Migration Activity.
4. Select You Can Also
5. Select Download Migration Template

Extension fields description must be containing the symbols like >, <. The Migration Template will get saved as a XML, and backend it will be having tags like <, >. System will treat them as XML tags and therefore, template gets corrupted.

Delete the symbols <, > in the field descriptions and then readapt the extensions fields. After that you should be able to download the Migration Template.
