2311729 - Backend system hangs with extended memory exhausted dumps in /SYCLO/CL_PM_CATALOGPROFILE_DOCP

Symptom

  • Backend ERP system appears to hang for a long time
  • All DIA and RFC available work processes were busy
  • No activities could be performed in the backend ERP system
  • Dumps were generated(SYSTEM_NO_ROLL, SQL_CAUGHT_RABAX, TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED, - extended memory was exhausted)
  • ST12  trace shows the code in /SYCLO/CL_PM_CATALOGPROFILE_DOCP causing the performance bottleneck
