2312177 - Error While Opening Custom Fine Tuning Activity: The target UI component is not assigned to any work center view.

When you try to open a custom fine tuning activity which you have created via SDK solution, you will receive the following errors:

• The target UI component is not assigned to any work center view.
• Please contact your system administrator.
• UI Component Name: YABC_BC/SRC/XYZ.QA.uicomponent,  where YABC is the solution name and XYZ is the UI component file name.

• SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Implementation Projects view.
3. Click Open Activity List.
4. Find and open the relevant fine tuning activity.
5. Open the link.
6. The error appears.

The reason for the issue is that you have not assigned your UI component to the Implementation work center view in the UI Designer.

1. Open the UI component from the SDK.
2. Go to the Configuration Explorer tab.
3. Expand the folder SAP_BYD_APPLICATION_UI.
4. Expand the BCTools folder.
5. Expand the Workcenter folder.
6. Double-click ImplementationProjects_WCView.
7. Now switch the tab to Extensibility Explorer.
8. Click Assign Component to View.
9. Select the box in the component field and from the popup, select the relevant component of your solution.
10. Click Apply button.
11. Select the button Save and Activate.
12. Close the UI Designer and Perform Deploy Business Configuration in the solution.
13. Activate the solution.
14. Refresh the UI and open the finetuning activity.
