2312741 - ESI computation on negative arrears

Symptom

  • ESIC computation on arrears income (negative) is impacted due to retrospective termination and Leave Without Pay.
  • The system is currently ignoring negative arrear ESI basis and calculating contributions only on the current month’s income.
  • The system should instead adjust negative arrears against current month income, and if the total income becomes negative, ESI contribution should not be calculated.
