Environment
SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS)
Resolution
Login to LMS as admin and navigate to System Admin > Configuration > Global Variables > Password Settings--> Ensure that the 'Allow user passwords to be changed' checkbox is selected.
Now login as User and click on Forgot Password link
System prompts you to enter the User ID. Next system asks you the security questions.
Once you answer the security questions correctly an email will be sent to the user's mail ID
Once you login again with the mailed password, system will again prompt you to reset the password.
Please note if the User has locked their Account from multiple login attempts then an Admin will have to unlock the User. See KBA 2413080 for further details.
If you would like to edit these Lockout settings you can do so via this KBA 2374445
Exemption:
If at least one of the users does not have a security question set up, the admin must contact their Support Account Manager to involve Professional Services team as it is out of scope for Customer Support team to modify data from DB.
***CS Team will only reset passwords if the need of it is caused by SAP activities such as upgrades that resulted to user data glitch.
