Symptom

  • Running an initial load job for an ABAP repository you get the error in the job log

            MessagesErrorCreation of JCo2Proxy failed. Reason:
            java.lang.Throwable: com/sap/mw/jco/JCO
            ErrorInitializing FromSAPIdentity pass
            java.lang.Throwable: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
            com/sap/mw/jco/JCO
            ErrorInit failed

  • Checking the DSE log you note a further error

            Java.lang.Throwable: JCo initialization failed with java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: C:\usr\sap\IDM\Identity Center\Java\sapjco3.dll: Can't load AMD 64-bit .dll on a IA 32-bit platform
