2313506 - Error ORA-00932 when load/replicate table using Oracle DB as Non-SAP source system - SAP SLT

Symptom

  • Use SAP LT Replication Server to transfer data from a legacy Oracle DB.
  • Error in LT system Application Log (of Transaction LTRC) for this table:
    SQL error SQL code: 1000 occurred while accessing table <logging_tab>.
    Run 0000000001 aborted due to SYSTEM FAILURE at ...
    Execution of program /1CADMC/OLC_<XXX> failed, return code 2
  • Error in LT System Log (Transaction SM21) relevant for the logging table:
    Database error 932 with FET access to table <logging_tab>
    ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected %s got %s
    Runtime error "DBSQL_SQL_ERROR" occurred
  • The original application table contains one or more fields with long data types, for example: data type VARCHAR2 with a long length (such as 3000 or 4000).
