2314761 - iOS native client unable to connect to SAP Mobile Platform 2.3.x - SMP/SUP

Symptom

User has developed native iOS 9 client for SAP Mobile Platform 2.3.x and is unable to connect to server.  When they check device MOCA log they see the error:

05T090600.276474, T3, HttpCommMgr: Connection failed, error: The resource could not be loaded because the App Transport Security policy requires the use of a secure connection., code = -1022, domain = NSURLErrorDomain
