2315560 - The Validity Date of a Survey as Part of an Activity Plan is Not Considered During The Determination of Applicable Surveys and Task in a Visit

You are expecting that he Validity Date of a Survey is considered in the determination of survey and task inside a Visit.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Visits work center.
2. Select the view Visits.
3. Open the Visit XYZ (XYZ Represents visit ID)
4.  Go to the Surveys tab.
5.  Choose Add button.
6.  Select the DEF (DEF Represent Survey ID) and add it.

This survey should not be determined because the visit date in expired.

 If you follow the path:

1. Go to the Activity Planner work center.
2. Choose the view Plans.
3. Open the Plan XYZ(XYZ represents Activity plan ID)
4. Go to the Surveys tab.
5. See that the Survey DEF.
6. it is no more valid the date is in past.

The Survey validity dates currently determine their availability to be added to an Activity Plan. For example, if a Survey is valid from 4/1/2024 - 4/30/2024, if you create an Activity Plan that's valid from 5/9/2024 onwards, you won't be able to add this Survey to the Activity Plan. However, once a valid Survey has been added to an Activity Plan, we only utilize the Activity Plan validity dates to determine whether the Survey is valid for determination. In the scenario of a Survey being invalid for a currently valid Activity Plan, please remove it from the Activity Plan so it won't be determined in the future.

The survey is being fetched from the activity planner. Currently, in order to avoid obsolete surveys getting picked up during visit creation, you need to remove them from the relevant activity plans. There is still no plan yet to automatically block the obsolete surveys to get picked up during visit. This is valid for expired surveys as well.

In order to remove the obsolete or expired surveys. Please follow the steps.

1. Go to the Activity Planner work center.
2. Go to the Plans view.
3. Open the activity planner DEF.
4. Navigate to the Surveys view.
5. Choose the survey ABC and select the Delete icon.
