2315975 - Error 16843014, Severity 1 in DSI thread to standby master DB - SRS

Symptom

  • DSI connection to the Standby ASE master database shuts down.
  • This error is reported in the replcation server error log:
    ERROR #1027 DSI EXEC(141(1) StandbyASE.master) - seful/cm.c(4952)Open Client Client-Library error: Error: 16843014, Severity 1 -- 'ct_connect(): user api layer: external error: The maximum number of connections have already been opened.'.
    ERROR #13045 DSI EXEC(141(1) StandbyASE.master) - seful/cm.c(4956)Failed to connect to server 'StandbyASE' as user 'user193'. See CT-Lib and/or server error messages for more information.
    The DSI thread for database 'StandbyASE.master' is shutdown.
