2316111 - Error when importing content: "An error was detected: getzipFile(filename,uploadID,addXMLFilesOnly) error occured while retrieving the file from db"

When trying to import a SCORM content, the import might fail and give the error message:

An error was detected: getzipFile(filename,uploadID,addXMLFilesOnly) error occured while retrieving the file from db.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

1. Go to Learning Administration > 
2. Go to Content >
3. Import Content >
4. Import a content zip file and proceed through the tool.

The issue could be with the "imsmanifest.xml" or the "metadata.xml" files present inside the zip file. Please, check all xml entries in the content folders to confirm whether the lom value doesn't exist in the mentioned files.

Zip the content again - Not the folder, but the contents in it. E.g.: If you open the zip file, it should contain all the files in it and not just a folder which contains the files and folders inside of it.

In addition, this solution is not for all the contents that you upload to the Learning system, but only with the ones with which you are facing the issues and this will not affect the behaviour of the content in any way.

Note: The content .zip file needs to be reviewed internally and/or with the content vendor. Support team are not trained content developers and troubleshooting 3rd party content is outside of scope.
