2316702 - A materials revision level does not follow a required sequence

Symptom

  • You create a revision level for a material which is greater than the lowest number available in your customizing.
  • For subsequent material revisions the revision level field is populated with the lowest unused level, instead of the next revision level in your sequence.
  • Manual intervention is required to then change it to the next revision level in your sequence.
