2317008 - ME21N BOM explosion in MM transactions for SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

After the creation of a subcontracting PO with Bill of material, the BOM is not exploding in PO as expected. Below settings are in place:

  • The material has the procurement type defined as External procurement
  • Material BOM is customized (T-code: CS01) correctly
  • Validity dates are in range as SAP Notes 196684 and 13023
