Symptom

  • SAP Replication Server (SRS) using Multi-Site Availability (MSA) or Warmstandby replication
  • Why does SRS transform a simple update statement like:

 update mydb..mytable SET last_chg_user = 'user1', last_chg_date = getdate() where id = 'ABC'

       into an update that uses all table columns in the where clause instead of the column specified in the original update?
