Symptom
You have created a business rule to trigger on a job information change so that when you request a Leave of Absence a workflow triggers. This is currently not triggering.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
Reproducing the Issue
Although the rule is setup correctly [Base object: Job information] and assigned onsave to the Job Information element, the workflow fails to trigger.
Cause
Currently onSave business rules are not supported for legacy LOA and Return from LOA. You cannot use such a business rule to trigger LOA and RLOA workflows as this is not supported at the moment.
Resolution
- The Legacy Manage Leave of Absence is being phased out at the moment. Please check our implementation and admin guides as this is not being offered anymore to new customers as we have a new architecture for leave of absence which is based on the time off time management module.
- If you are an implementation partner, please check our Implementation Employee Central Time Off Guide for details.
