2319743 - Handling ORA-04061, ORA-04065, ORA-04068, ORA-06508 errors - EIS

Symptom

A supply chain model fails and one or more errors similar to the following is seen in the SAP Enterprise Inventory and Service-Level Optimization (EIS) application log.  The following are examples and the object(s) names may be different in your environment:

  • ORA-04068: existing state of packages has been discarded
  • ORA-04061: existing state of package body "SOPS_MIPO.PACK_POST_PROCESSING" has been invalidated
  • ORA-04065: not executed, altered or dropped package body "SOPS_MIPO.PACK_POST_PROCESSING"
  • ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called: "SOPS_MIPO.PACK_POST_PROCESSING"
  • ORA-06512: at "SOPS_MIPO.PACK_DIM_SCENARIO_COPY", line 172
