2320061 - Exact Length of an Item ID/CPNT_ID For tools

This KBA will clarify the exact Length of an Item ID which is created using Item Connector.

SAP SuccessFactors Learnign Managment System

1. If an Item created through LMS UI than the maximum Length that we can use is 30 chars. (this is due to the tool being a more streamlined version of connector , so to help with browser based functionaility the requirements are strictrer for the import content tool)

2. If the same item created via Item Connector than the maximun length that we can use is 90 Chars.
