Symptom

  • Error MTM 00018 when running the Multitenancy Management Tool (MTM)
There was an error running multitenancy management tool.
[ERROR] The templateToken property defined in the tenant definition file contains an invalid value. The value may be too short. (MTM 00018)
[ERROR] null
  • With MTM tracing enabled, the following error is shown in the MTM trace log (see KBA 2307612 to enable tracing)
The application failed to execute due to error The templateToken property defined in the tenant definition file contains an invalid value. The value may be too short. (MTM 00018)
AppConfig.validate(): validating app config property tenantname failed
Incorrect configuration of property tenantname during MTM tool startup.  Refer to the comments in configuration file or command line to correct the problem.
AppMain.run(): The templateToken property defined in the tenant definition file contains an invalid value. The value may be too short. (MTM 00018)
