2321923 - "Metadata EDISDEF for XX, IDoc type YY and CIM type not maintained" error in sender system in tr. SM58 transaction

You try to send IDocs from your ECC system through PI. You notice that in your sender system in transaction SM58 IDocs are stuck with the following error: "Metadata EDISDEF for XX, IDoc type YY and CIM type not maintained"

1. You have verified that the port setting and the RFC connection to your PI system is set up properly.
2. You reloaded the IDoc metadata from your PI system.
3. You already applied the following SAP Notes:
1. SAP Note 837595 - IDoc adapter metadata EDISDEF not maintained
2. SAP Note 1157385 - IDoc adapter: IDocs with status 03 and in XI not transferred
