2322414 - In the result of Prerequisites Checker, you find that NetWeaver 7.5 can be installed on Windows Server 2008

Symptom

You plan to install NetWeaver 7.5 on Windows environment. Before installation, you run the Prerequisites Checker. In the result of the Prerequisites Checker, you find the following highlighted content.

The result shows that you can install NetWeaver 7.5 on Windows Server 2008 (Version 6.0 and 6.1).

While when you check the required OS version in PAM (Product Availability Matrix), you find that Windows Server 2008 is not supported by NetWeaver 7.5.

There is conflict between the result of the Prerequisites Checker and PAM. And you are confused which is correct.
