2322517 - Error Message "Material ID ZZ34 not valid; it does not fall within the allowed range A - ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ or 1 - 99999999999999" While Migrating Materials

When you are migrating Materials, system throws below error message:

Material ID Productxyz not valid; it does not fall within the allowed range A - ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ or 1 - 99999999999999

(ProductXYZ represents the material ID)

1. Go to Business Configuration work center
2. Select Implementation Projects view or Overview.
3. Search and Open the migration activity Migration of Materials
4. Execute Migration for the respective Migration File

The Material ID must be starting with Alphabets and ends with Numeric and specific configuration hasn't been maintained in activity Number Ranges for Materials

You can maintain the Number Ranges for Materials as below in order to have Material ID starting with Alphabets and ends with Numeric.

End Number: ZZZZZZZZZZ9999999999
