2323830 - Legal entity field is empty during hire

When you try to add a new employee and to select a legal entity the drop down menu shows "There were no results" or "No Data".

1. Go to add new employee wizard
2. On first screen, select a legal entity
3. The dropdown shows 'No Data'

Or

1. Go to Manage Pending Hires
2. Select an Employee
3. When trying to select a company the dropdown shows 'No Data'

This is due to validity dates on Legal entities or due to invalid associations.

The Legal Entity should always be the highest object in the Object Hierarchy Structure/Association.

All of these will cause no data or there were no results to appear in the dropdown menu. To confirm this, you can do the following:

1. Check the hire date selected 
2. Go to Manage data and confirm that there are companies active in this date 

In case the dates match then check to see what objects are associated to legal entity, for example division, department or Pay Range. The association maybe the wrong way around i.e. the parent in the association should be the child and vice versa. The problem could also be that the field criteria of the association is incorrect.
