Symptom

Getting an application error while terminating an employee.

Cause

Accrual period id added for manual adjustment.We should not add Accrual period ID for Posting type "Manual Adjustment".This field  is used for accrual and recalculation posting types  for checking duplicate posting.

Resolution

  • Field "Accrual period id " will be hidden by default.Make it visible via Configure Object Definition---->Time account details---->accrual period id field.
  • Navigate to manage time off page of the user--->Get Time Account code
  • Navigate to Manage time off structures--->Time account----->Search the time account code copied in step 2--------->Click the details link next to posting type manual adjustment---->Check the field  Accrual period id.
  • Remove the value from field "accrual period id " if present.
  • Check for all time accounts of the affected user
