When going to Add New Employee in Admin Center the 'Event Reson' drop down menu shows 'No Data'

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Admin Centre
- Add New Employee
- Event Reason shows 'No Data'
> Check for the event reasons effective dates and configuration like Status, and name in Manage Organisation, Pay and Job Structures.
> Export the picklist in Admin Centre > Picklist Management.
Cause
Wrong external codes are assigned to the events or multiple events with the same external code (even if only one is active).
For example, as you can see in the screenshot below, there are three events Hire with the external code H, two of them are OBSOLETED but these multiple records cause the event reasons of not being displayed in the add new employee UI.
Resolution
- If the external codes are incorrect:
- Download the Master Picklist from the Market Place and compare the external codes assigned to the events.
- Make the corrections.
- If you have noticed multiple Hire events:
- Make them OBSOLETE and left only one as ACTIVE;
- For the OBSOLETE ones, delete the external codes of those records;
After performing either of those two options of corrections, the events should be displayed correctly.
