Symptom
You see ORA-48913 in Oracle alert.log file as below:
Non critial error ORA-48913 caught while writing to trace file "/oracle/<SID>/saptrace/diag/rdbms/<SID>/trace/<trace file name>"
Error message: ORA-48913: Writing into trace file failed, file size limit [<limit value, 10240000 for example>] reached
Writing to the above trace file is disabled for now on...
If you look at the trace file, you can see following lines in the end:
cpu%: cputm: cpuwt: avgrun: avgwt
*** DUMP FILE SIZE IS LIMITED TO <limit value, 10240000 for example> BYTES ***
You run SQL command "SQL> show parameter max_dump_file_size;" to check its value. The returned value is 20000 as documented in the parameter recommendation notes.
