2325802 - RPC call fails with Msg error# 7205 - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • RPC call from ASE server to another server running ssl causes error message:

  • %> isql -Shost:port -Uusername -Ppassword
    1> remoteserver...sgw_status parameters
    2> go
    Msg 7205, Level 17, State 2:
    Server 'servername', Line 1:
    Can't open a connection to site 'remoteserver'. See the error log file in the ASE boot directory.
