2327344 - Update Sales Organization on Products

You are trying to replace Materials with the new Organization Unit in C4C and resend them from ERP.

But  interface is first trying to delete the exisiting Sales Organization and this is not allowed. The processing is then stopped.

Business Requirement: Change of Sales Organizational Structure in C4C, hence to re-assign the Sales Organization (Function) to different Organizational Units. The Sales Organization has not changed in the backend it is only the C4C Organizational Sructure that has been updated.

If the key user does not delimit in Org Structure, the existing validity as Sales Org (changing the function only from a certain point of time in the second validity), but changes only the existing entry, then it looks like this Org Unit has never been a Sales Org. Instead of Delimiting, completely deleting the Sales Org Function.

The impact for product maintenance is whenever there is an Org Unit which was a Sales Org in the past and the same has been used in products with status Active, any further changes to this product would give an error saying the Sales Org does not exist. Since deletion of an active sales process instance is not possible.

You will have to create a function with Sales Org indicator set for a validity in the past. If this exists, the error would not be raised. For the affected Org Unit (where Sales Org Function was deleted), add a Sales Org Function with validity in the past then your business process will work.
