2327756 - Dump CALL_FUNCTION_SEND_ERROR when working with Excel Pivot Table on SAP OLE DB Provider

Symptom

You are using the 'SAP BW OLE DB Provider' in Excel Pivot tables.

While retrieving a resultset the following errors occur:

  • Dump CALL_FUNCTION_SEND_ERROR (check transaction ST22)
  • Gateway error: program state check for conversation xxxxxxxx" (I/O error) 
  • program EXCEL on host <your host> called function SEND_DATA in state RECEIVE
