Symptom

After changing database password, the SMP server is unable to start with error:

!MESSAGE SMP-INIT-001 SAP Mobile Server - Failed to verify database status on startup. The following error was returned:ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
. ERROR CODE: 1017. SQL State: 72000
