2328457 - 'Unable to find template' when saving to the template folder with MS Word 2013

Symptom

  • It is not possible to use the MS Word SAPscript text editor and the error "Unable to find template" (Message no. SOFFICEINTEGRATION231) is displayed as described in KBA 1819805.

  • In some cases the problem might only happen for some users or on some PCs rather than system-wide.
  • As per the solution of KBA 1819805, you have already uploaded the latest 'Word2007template.dotm' file from note 1091389, and you have verified the BDS authorization is set correctly as described in note 818080:
    • 1091389 - MS Word in SAPscript: Installing new WordTemplate.dot
    • 818080 - MS Word in SAPscript/Smart Forms: Template not found
