2328578 - Mass update of Opportunities Status Fails

Symptom

You are updating the field status of opportunities using the mass data maintenance, but when executing data import, it fails.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Mass Data Maintenance
  2. Select Import Opportunities
  3. Upload the CSV file
  4. Select Execute Import
  5. Import fails

 

Cause

You did not maintain the field Reason for Status. This field becomes mandatory depending on status you are setting on your opportunities.

You can setup the rules of reason for status in fine-tuning activity Opportunities

Resolution

You must maintain the field Reason for Status
