2328590 - SMP 3.0 seeing error [-100029] Retrieve feed - OData server returned HTTP code, 500

Symptom

  • Customer is seeing both the offline store and online proxy are throwing an error when trying to read a large response body in the payload that is returned from SAP NW Gateway.
    There is no limit for the payload size on the SMP server (-1=no limit). The error in the online response is: 500 Internal Server Error.
  • Server log shows:
    [-100027] An error occurred while processing request "book_PriceSet" (http://xxxxxx:8000/com.xxxxxxxx/Book_PriceSet?$filter=ILocation%20eq%20'0009'%20and%20IRoute%20eq%20'17')
    [-100029] Retrieve feed "http://xxx:8000/xx?$filter=ILocation%20eq%20'0009'%20and%20IRoute%20eq%20'17' " failed because the OData server returned HTTP code, 500, with message: null
