2328619 - Promotion Management job failure :- java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Unable to retrieve any enterprise node

Symptom

  • Unable to promote objects using delegated Administrators
  • The following error message can be seen in a popup message:
    java.lang.IllegalArgumentException:Unable to retrieve any enterprise node

  • In the Adaptive job server trace logs this message appears:

com.businessobjects.lcm.utilities.LCMLogger||Job promotion failed due to:com.businessobjects.lcm.utilities.LCMException:com.businessobjects.lcm.utilities.LCMException:java.lang.IllegalArgumentException:Unable to retrieve any enterprise node"

  • After clicking Edit on the job and attempting to Promote, the message [{"AjaxRequestThrowsError":"True"}] appears
