- You are trying to increase DOP (Degrees of Parallelism) in an HCI Data Services or SAP Data Services data flow and see from the monitor log that there seems to be a maximum value when increasing DOP.
- You see the following in the execution trace log:
-
The degree of parallelism (DOP) for data flow <dataflow> is reduced to <#>, because, to achieve better performance on data flow optimization, the product of the number of transforms <#> and data flow DOP may not exceed the current value of the job server option Maximum_Number_Of_Parallel_Transforms which is set to <256>. To increase DOP you may override the job server option with a larger value.
