Symptom

  • Deadlock
  • Data transfer jobs
  • DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR
  • Deadlocks on source system
  • Short dumps being generated in source system, due to DB deadlocks on a logging table.  The following info is from the dump file:
    "ORA-00060: deadlock detected while waiting for resource"
  • "The termination is caused because exception "CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB" occurred in procedure "/1CADMC/OLI_XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" "(FUNCTION)", but it was neither handled locally nor declared in the RAISING clause of its signature."
  • "Table DMC_MT_TABLES could not be locked" warnings in LTRC -> Application Logs
