2329447 - Msg 4720 'cannot truncate table' with dlevel0cnt=0 - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • A user table cannot be truncated even when no process is found to be using the object
  • The table descriptor shows dlevel0cnt = 0
  • The truncate will fail with Msg 4720:
Msg 4720, Level 16, State 1:
Server '*SERVERNAME*', Line 1:
Cannot truncate table '*TABLENAME*' because there are one or more isolation level 0 scans, or REORG command, active on the table.
