Symptom

  • The description about Office compatibility is incorrect in SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.2 Supported Platforms (PAM)
  • It indicates that "(*1) Only 32-bit versions of Microsoft Office are supported", but MS office 2013 (64bit) has been supported on Dashboard 4.2

Environment

  • SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform (BI) 4.2

Cause

The description in  BI 4.2 PAM document is incorrect since MS office 2013 (64-bit) has been supported on Dashboard 4.2.

Resolution

  • MS office 2013 (64-bit) has been supported on Dashboard 4.2.
  • BI 4.2 PAM document will be modified accordingly in next release.
