2332174 - Unable to launch Flowgraph editor in SAP Hana Studio

Symptom

  • An error is written into the eclipse.log: 
    • Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method org.eclipse.core.runtime.IPath.toFile()  of a null object returned from org.eclipse.core.resources.IFile.getLocation()
      at com.sap.ndb.studio.afm.providers.AFMPersistencyBehavior.isEmptyFile(AFMPersistencyBehavior.java:134)
      at com.sap.ndb.studio.afm.providers.AFMPersistencyBehavior.loadDiagram(AFMPersistencyBehavior.java:71)
      at org.eclipse.graphiti.ui.editor.DiagramBehavior.setInput(DiagramBehavior.java:380)
      at com.sap.ndb.studio.afm.providers.AFMDiagramBehavior.setInput(AFMDiagramBehavior.java:165)
  • When trying to launch the Flowgraph editor in the SAP Hana studio there is an error: "Failed to create the part's controls"
