2332208 - Different order of the axis in the 9-box for Calibration Session and Talent Card

The axes on Calibration Session are presented inverted from the axis on Talent Card, causing confusion and bad user experience. For example, in the Calibration session, the X-axis is showing the Potential rating, whereas the X-axis is showing the Performance rating on the Talent Card.

This may occur due to the configuration applied for each session. In case you have configured the axis in the Calibration not using the same order used on Performance-Potential Matrix Grid Report, then the order of the axis will be presented differently.

To correct this issue, it is necessary to adjust the axis on either the Calibration Session Template or on the Matrix Grid Report configuration.

 

Calibration Session Template

To change the axis order in the Calibration Session, follow the bellow steps:

1. Go to Admin Center > Calibration > Manage Calibration Templates
2. Select the template used for the session you would like to change the axis.
3. Click "Views" > Click in the Performance-Potential view
4. In the "Calibration element(s):" select the order of the axis. The first element (X-axis) will appear horizontally in the 9-box and the second element (Y-axis) will appear vertically in the 9-box:

5. Click "Save".

 

Matrix Grid Report configuration

To change the axis order in the Talent Card, you need to edit the Performance-Potential Matrix Grid Report, please note that changing this configuration will reflect in all the 9-boxes from your instance (Matrix Grid Report, Scorecard, Talent Card), except from the Calibration Session. To change the axis, follow the bellow steps:

1. Go to Admin Center > Succession > Matrix Grid Report: Performance-Potential
2. Select the axis in the same order configured for the Calibration Session: 

3. Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page.

 

Now the axes order are presented correctly in the Calibration Session and in the Talent Card:
