2332243 - Obsoleted picklist values are displayed in Talent search

Obsoleted picklist values are displayed in dropdown list of criteria in Talent search.

2. And it is still available for selection in Talent Search criteria:

This is the current behavior of the system when using "Picklist Management", as Obsoleted picklist values are still referenced by users' profile/background data in the instance.

Even though you cannot add any new record with a obsoleted picklist value, the existing record with such options will still be available. After making the picklist values obsolete in your instance, it becomes a read-only value.

The Talent Search perform the "read" action to employee data, so the obsoleted values will be available in search criteria.

Note: This behaviour does not apply to systems using "Picklist Center" where the Obsoleted value is not available and only Active and Inactive values are available. Inactive picklist values will not appear in the Talent Search dropdown.

To remove obsoleted values from your instance and from selection in Talent Search, it is necessary to delete them:

Then, only the active picklist values will be displayed under the filter options in Talent Search:
