Symptom
This article is designed to solve the most common issues with ROE 2.0 version.
ROE stands for the Record of Employment which is a mandatory report for Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) agency.
- Issue A:
After executing the Record of Employment (ROE) - Generator (RPCROEK0_GENERATOR or RPCROEK0_GENERATOR_CE) report in your system, you will proceed with exporting the ROE run ID from the Record of Employment (Web ROE) - Workbench (HRPAYCA_ROEWB transaction). As you run the "Validate XML" functionality to check for inconsistencies, you receive the message: File validation completed: XMLfile contains errors. When you open the .txt file you'll see the below errors: - The element: 'CD' has an invalid value according to its data type
- The attribute: 'SoftwareVendor" has an invalid value according to its data type
- The attribute: 'OrgNum' has an invalid value according ot its data type
- Issue B:
After executing the Record of Employment (ROE) - Generator (RPCROEK0_GENERATOR or RPCROEK0_GENERATOR_CE) report in your system, you will proceed with exporting the ROE run ID from the Record of Employment (Web ROE) - Workbench (HRPAYCA_ROEWB transaction). As you select the file to import from the presentation server, on the "XML schema upload options" and execute the report, you receive the message: Invalid fillepath for schema
