2334547 - Increase material number length to over 18 characters

Symptom

  • When creating a material in t-code MM01, entering a material number (MATNR) longer than 18 characters is not possible.
  • Changing the material no. length field in transaction OMSL results in error BMG222 "The length of the material number must not exceed 18 characters".
