Symptom

When creating a Visit, the Sales territory and Sales Organization are not being filled automatically.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Visits work center.
  2. Click New.
  3. Select any Account and hit Save.
  4. Save and open it, the account will maintain the fields Sales territory and Sales Organization as empty.

Cause

There is a missing question in the Project Scope or a field not maintained inside the Activities.

Resolution

  1. Open Business Configuration Work Center.
  2. Select Current Implementation Project.
  3. Navigate to questions (step 4).
  4. Select and flag the following question: Do you want to default sales organization distribution channel and division based on the account and employee sales data.

If after this step the issue still persist, then perform the step below:

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
  2. Select the Implementation Projects view.
  3. Select the First Implementation project and click the Open Activity List button.
  4. Navigate to the Fine-Tune step and open activity Activities.
  5. Click Maintain involved parties for appointment
  6. Mark the option Account
