2335363 - Print certificate icon is missing in the complete work section

While the certificate of completion for the items is defined and the user successfully completed the course, the print certificate icon is missing.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Access the Learning user side >
2. In the "History" tile, click "View All" to access the completed work >
3. Notice that the "Action" column does not show the print certificate (printer) icon for the concluded course.

The print certificate is not displayed due to a missing permission in the Learning user role.

Please, follow the below steps to enable the print certificate icon:

1. Access the Learning admin side >
2. System Administration > Security > Role Management > Search and access the desired Learning user role >
3. "Permissions" tab > "add one or more from list" >
4. Expand the "Reports" section > Find and select the "Run User Certificate of Completion History Record Report" permission box >
5. Add > Ok.

Learning currently uses a single permission (Run User Certificate of Completion History Record Report) that controls the certificate generation. If it is removed from the Learning users' role, they will not be able to print any certificate.

Also, there is not an option to hide/remove the print certificate icon for some completed works only, it is either all or nothing.

Note, this is not available for external events as per the KBA 2475493. This is the current the system standard behavior and may require an enhancement request for any changes.
