Symptom

  • How to remove item in bulk from user's learning plan?
  • How to remove incorrect items from user's learning plan in bulk?
  • Is there a way to remove items through assignment profile (AP)?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Reproducing the Issue

Incorrect items assigned to users via AP.

Resolution

  1. Learning Administration >
  2. Manage User Learning > Assignment Profile > Search and access the desired AP through which incorrect items were assigned to users >
  3. "Items" tab >
  4. Remove the items from the AP >
  5. "Actions" menu > Click "Execute Changes", then "Update Users and Assignments".

Note 1: If you have multiple assignment profiles through which items were assigned, then the same steps need to be followed for all APs.

Note 2: If the item old revision associated with an AP is inactivated, the old course revision assigned to the users by the AP will be automatically removed from their learning plan. This is the expected behavior.

Note 3: Courses that are already completed by users won't be removed from their history, because the records are stored in a different database table.
