Symptom
How do customers remove the decimals for the fields of the Standard Compensation Statements?
Environment
SuccessFactors Business Execution Suite - Compensation & Variable Pay
Cause
The number of decimals displayed for the money, amount and percent type fields in the Compensation Statements are not defined the Statement XLS, but in the Compensation Statement XML where the values are coming from.
In this case, the fields 'Current Annual Salary' and 'Proposed Annual Salary' are money type fields and they are displaying 2 decimals, and the field 'Increase in Salary' is percent type field and it is displaying 1 decimal. This is because the Compensation Statement XML has 2 decimals configured for money type fields and 1 decimal configured for percent type fields.
Resolution
If customer would like to remove the decimals of the Compensation Statement, then they will need to update the Compensation template XML by removing the decimals for money and percent type fields. After that, they would need to relaunch the forms so the system apply the changes. Otherwise, the Compensation Statements will continue to display 2 decimals for money type fields and 1 decimal for percent type fields.
