What is it?

A mobile-device-ready SuccessFactors add-on tool that pulls insights from Workforce Analytics data automatically, and pushes them out to managers who need them. These analytical insights are communicated in simple human language and offers actionable next steps for any critical issue.

What it isn’t?

A deep-dive, slice and dice analytics tool. Other aspects of the Analytics application are suited for traditional power users, or analysts. Headlines is designed to communication insights to help manager make better decisions.

What are the pre-requisites?

Worforce Analytics Product is required.

WFA and Metrics published in your PROD environements. Standard headlines are using Termination - Voluntary metrics, be aware if you do not have the standard metrics set-up, such as the WFA Metrics call "Termination voluntary", our standard headlines cannot be used and you should build your own Headline from Headline Designer.

Additionnal functionalities such as Headlines Tile can be enabled if you are a BizX customer and have link your BizX instance to your WFA Production environement.

What are the limitations?

The core use of Headlines is to show headlines on the SuccessFactors Home Page and in the iPad app.

For this reason, Headlines should be used for log-in users into the SuccessFactors application when accessing to WFA (E.g performancemanager5.successfactors.eu). This is NOT supported when log in directly to WFA such as "Prod" or "Preview" environement ( e.g https://analytics012.successfactors.com).

Of course, you can still design your headlines directly in WFA however running it will require permissions that need SuccessFactors permissions.

Implementation Request

The implementation is done by your Customer support. Just Open an case from launchpad.support.sap.com

Please provide your WFA instance ID, location of Data Center (DC) & Address you use to log in your instance for quicker implementation.

Once Headlines is implemented, Your Customer Product Support need to create a new WFA Role or Edit a role if provided.
