2338834 - Primary index named like *~0 does not show up in SE11 - SAP ASE for BS

Symptom

To verify the primary index (Index ~0) configuration of a table in the ABAP Dictionary (transaction SE11), let's use table SEOCOMPODF as an example. 

  • Table SEOCOMPODF has three indexes checking from database level:  

            SEOCOMPODF~0
            SEOCOMPODF~REF
            SEOCOMPODF~TYP

  • Index SEOCOMPODF~0 does not show up in SE11. It only display the other 2 indexes:

            SEOCOMPODF~REF
            SEOCOMPODF~TYP
