2339640 - CX_RSR_X_MESSAGE/JCO_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE creating Universe

You create a Relational Connection to BW in your BI system. When creating the universe in IDT over an InfoProvider, you face an error similar to the below:

Could not update text and dimension tables for connection <ConnectionName>.

com.businessobjects.datafederator.soucedefiner.connection.ConnectionException: com.sap.connectivity.cs.java.drivers.DBDError: [Data Federator Driver] [Server] [Connector <ID>]

The SAP BW server reported an exception: com.sap.conn.jco.JCoException: (104) JCO_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE (…)

On BW backend, you see a dump similar to:
