2340344 - SAP Mobile Platform 2.3.6 service stopped and did not restart

Symptom

  • SMP MBO mobile server will not start
  • Bootstrap log shows:
    2016-07-07 08:58:05.180 ERROR   MMS   main [com.sybase.djc.mobilink.StartServer] [] [] failed to check product patch level.
    com.sybase.sup.server.util.TxUtils$InvokeException: com.sybase.djc.DataStoreException: Connection Failed: java.sql.SQLException: JZ00L: Login failed.  Examine the SQLWarnings chained to this exception for the reason(s).
    Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: JZ00L: Login failed.  Examine the SQLWarnings chained to this exception for the reason(s).
     at com.sybase.jdbc4.jdbc.ErrorMessage.raiseError(ErrorMessage.java:768)
     at com.sybase.jdbc4.tds.Tds.processLoginAckToken(Tds.java:5356)
  • Event Viewer shows:
    Error 7/5/2016 6:36:05 PM SQLANY64 16.0 1 None "SQLANYs_SAPMobilePlatformDatabase: Fatal error:  disk full when writing to ""F:\SMP\Servers\UnwiredServer\data\domainlogdb.db"""
    Error 7/5/2016 6:35:10 PM SQLANY64 11.0 2 None "The description for Event ID 2 from source SQLANY64 11.0 cannot be found.
    Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

    SQLANYs_SAPMobilePlatformDatabase: *** ERROR *** Assertion failed: 201848 (16.0.0.2076)
    Checkpoint log: write to F:\SMP\Servers\UnwiredServer\data\default.db failed with status 1:112 : filesystem may be full
    the oldest backupfiles of the filesystem were deleted to get free space, I restarted the server and services.
    now the filesystem has enough space..
